The songs on this album are a reflection on the growing phenomena of isolation which is experienced to an extreme in the Japanese current called Hikkikomori. As a composer I am often isolated for the obvious reason of finding peace and quiet and thus let the creative juices flow. But this movement, from what I have read about it is way more severe than my short term "creative" isolation. The world is indeed a very strange place.
